Okay, I'm sure this has been asked a million times before, but...

We've got a stout in the fermenter that's been there for a week and a half. OG was 1.06. Gravity's been stalled at 1.02 for four or so days.

Should we bottle, or try to re-start it with more yeast? I've tried the whole swirling thing, but it didn't help...

Thank you in advance!

If it's an extract, and a stout, and been at the same Fg for more than three days, I'd call it finished.

However, since it's only been in the fermenter a week and a half, I'd wait about another week or two before bottling. Just in case. Plus, any "stuff" that hasn't fallen out yet will have a chance to do so in the next week. I wouldn't bottle a beer less than 3 weeks old, especially one that started with an OG over 1.055.
