I have an Double IPA kit that has been sitting in my closet since probably April or May... How long are these good for? It's the syrup type with some specialty grains as well...

Thanks,

I would still use it. In fact I've used older extract then that. It may not be the freshest but I see no need to waste it.

The bigger question is whether you left the hops at room temp as well. If so, they're probably done for. Hops should be kept in the freezer because the oils are quickly broken down at room temp. If you kept the hops frozen and it's just the grains and extract at room temp then take a look and if the extract isn't moldy then you're good to go.
