I was running some tests on my mill with wet conditioned malt. I have about 1.5# left over and would like to re-use. It seems like it dried just fine. Any thoughts on whether it would perform any differently? I didn't soak it, just misted it enough to let the husks absorb some and be more pliable.

During harvest the grain sometimes gets rained on and then dries to be harvested and it stores just fine providing that the grain truly is dry. Spread your grain out on a towel to give it plenty of contact with the air and it will dry out enough to store. If you put it in a sealed container with too much moisture it will spoil and boy does spoiled grain stink.
