Extra pale ale suggestions

Anyone have any suggestions for additives for a NB extra pale ale 5g kit?

Agreed.
Someone bothered to make a kit for you. If you are going to alter it, why bother starting with a kit?
Have you tried it before and found it lacking something?

I brewed that as an extract kit. It was very good as is. In fact I later brewed it as all grain with little or no modifications. (From their online recipe).

Have you brewed it before? If not, I would brew as is.

After that you may use it as a base for something different. I would suggest very small changes, like a little more of the same hops. Or a small addition of a complimenting hop.

As it sits, (and I don't know that particular kit) it's designed to make a specific beer.
Is there anything else that you would want to get out of the beer? That would give hints as to what to do to it.
When I started, doing extract kits, the first half dozen or so I did exactly to the recipe and instruction sheets. One that I did a couple times, I decided wasn't hoppy enough, so I added some extra hops in the boil and dryhopped. I'd been reading here and a couple other forums so I had a good idea what I wanted to do. I don't recall the varieties, but I think I added a half-oz each to the aroma and flavor additions, then another oz as dryhop. Came out nicely.
My point is, is there something about this beer that you don't like? Have you brewed it before or is this a first time?

Never brewed it before- but I see this as a “bonus Kit”, as I got it for free unexpectedly.

I love hoppy beers- was thinking to dryhop for added aroma.

By all means do the dry hop. You'll have way more aroma that way. I like to dry hop pale ales with Citra and Cascade or Citra and Amarillo. There are other combinations that work well too.
