Exploding Bucket!!!

My batch of Chrismas Ale blew last night! I filled the bucked up too much and blew the lid clear off. Is my batch still good? Should i take some out? Any advice is appreciated

Also, anyone have a favorite cleaner that gets dried crusty yeast/hops off celing?!

Using an airlock? Switch to a blowoff. Clean your ceiling with soapy water. Sanitize and add a blowoff.

I had the same problem with an Imperial Irish Red ...I used an S type airlock instead of a three piece with a blow off tube.
