Expired White Labs yeast

I am brewing an Imperial Stout and just noticed that the White Labs yeast has an expiration date of 7/18/11. I have some Safale 05 and some 04 on hand. Would I be better off ditching the White Labs or will it be ok?

Make a starter ans use the White Labs. Some have used yeast kept in the fridge for over a year. If you have any viable cells you can step up the cell count to proper amounts.
