Ever use GoFerm with dry beer yeast?

I use GoFerm with my dry wine yeasts, but I was wondering about using it when rehydrating my Safale 05.

Any thoughts?

There are plenty of nutrients in wort, so products like Go-Ferm are typically neither required nor recommended for beer.

According to Chris White (White Labs) in the book "Yeast", Go Ferm was designed for rehydration of dry yeast. I quote, "They provide a selection of bioavailable micronutrients at a time when the yeast act like sponges. The result is healthier yeast that are better prepaired for fermentation at the end of rehydration."

I always use GoFerm when I rehydrate my yeast.
