LHBS was out of EKG today so I'm going with fuggles in tomorrow's ESB, at 60 and flame out. Waddaya think?

I use fuggles in my Irish reds. I used all Fuggles and nothing else in an IPA/Pale Ale recently. Earthy would be the word I would use to describe it...Turned out awesome. I say go for it.

Haven't had it in years, but loved it when I did: Check out Adnam's Extra which if I'm not mistaken, is 100% Fuggles. I think fuggles generally gets a bad rap. I agree with Jonny - earthy. And just as there is floral, herbal, piney, grassy, etc. - nothing wrong with "earthy." Have fun with it.
