ok so this gos back to Christmas when i randomly asked my uncle if he had any empty bottles. he says yes and then goes to offer me all the rest of his equipment if he can find it. seems his wife said no more brewing and every thing had gotten buried in his garage. so i get 50 or so 1 litter bottles, another 6 gallon carboy, another bottling bucket, and everything else i would need had i not already had it. i thought this was awesome but the topper came today when having a family lunch he tells me that he found his kegging setup. so i get my self a free kegging setup:mug:
cant wait to use it.:drunk:

Congrat's...I've often thought that kegging is the best improvement / labor saver for the home brewery.

I agree -- I do a batch every week or two instead of every month or two because of kegs.

i don't know i bottle and keg and it seems that they both have there place
kegging is simpler though but bottling is awesome for longterm storage
