I'll never forget watching the kid cry in the stands after the Flyers came back from 0-3 in Game 7 of the series they trailed 0-3 and beat Boston. It was hysterical that he was crying over it.

Last year was pretty funny too..Remember what happened?? Let me remind you.. The Flyers got smoked and the Bruins went on to win the Stanley cup..We laugh about that series often.

Paybacks a bitch ain't it..:D

Not a big deal, Flyers didn't deserve to be there after how they finished the season to limp into the playoffs and they barely crawled past Buffalo.

Everyone gets swept once in a while, happened to the Flyers in the Finals in '97 against Detroit. **** happens, but no one other than Boston has lost as playoff series after being up 3-0 in the series and Game 7, in any sport, at any time in history. Not only did they blow the series, they were winning Game 4 to complete the sweep until the Flyers forced overtime and won Game 4. It was THAT close to a sweep. We all know the rest from there.

Holding a record for laying a big fat turd is a bigger bitch. Lose a playoff series in ugly fashion or lose a series that will have you remembered forever for you blunder?

The rest of the sports world laughs often at the franchise who will always be brought up any time a team is facing a 0-3 hole in a playoff series, in any league. We'll always remember those Bruins.

Yes, that's just trash talk and me handing you your slice of humble pie back you tried to serve me.

Just a trip down Memory Lane:

Simon Gagne, you'll always be a hero in Philly.

Yea they're afraid because their team isn't the powerhouse it was earlier in the year. Not to mention getting smoked by a Sabres team who hasn't been great lately. I'm hoping the Sabres can pick up the pace like they did last season.

Same thing the Flyers did last year, tore it up for a good portion of the season and just barely slid into the playoffs, really inconsistent, almost lost to Buffalo, then blown out by the B's.

Is it bad that I missed most of the game last night? Maybe.

But my excuse is that I was a friend's place, and we finally bottled up his first batch of beer (RYE PA) that he made with the kit I got him for Christmas. After that, we were cutting tiles for my keezer build. The old big screen was on in the garage, but I only saw the first period (boring, aside from Phaneuf losing it and somehow drawing a penalty - WTF??) and the last 2 minutes of the game (can't get possession of the puck with a 6-on-4 - WTF??).

All in all a productive evening, despite missing out on the 2 points.

Did you see where Hartnell told Phaneuf to "suck it!" at the all star game? Wonder if he said it again last night...

Yeah - I saw that. If that's what happened again last night and it made Phaneuf lose it, then that's friggin awesome. Wish there was a 24/7 crew on-hand last night to catch that exchange.

I wish Hartnell was a Toronto Maple Leaf.

I wish Hartnell would die -_-...Along with the Maple leafs? ..So yeah, I guess I wish Hartnell was a Maple leaf too =P

I like him more than I think I could like a Matthew Barnaby, but he's definitely a player you hate when he's not on your team. Probably the same for Wayne Simmonds. And Zach Rinaldo, and Talbot, and Matt Read, and Sestito...probably most of the Flyers roster.

Matt Carle is probably one of the few that people don't mind.

I hate Wayne Simmonds. Though, I like Maxy, when he played for the Pens I loved him and it's hard for me to hate him even now that he plays for the enemy.

But what I enjoy most about guys like Hartnell and Simmonds is they're not a Sean Avery - they actually score goals and put up points. They're not just agitators or instigators. They contribute more than just annoying the 29 other teams.

Hate them because they're not on your team, but let's be honest, they're guys everyone world love to have on their teams. They're guys that go to tough territory on the ice and produce offensively.

Red Wings pull it out in the SO. Bertuzzi with the slowest SO goal I've ever seen.

I wondered what the heck he was doing, until he scored, he never ceases to amaze me. First overtime i've seen with a 3 on 3 and a 5 on 3, crazy game.

This.

Avery has been on waivers twice this year and every single team in the NHL passed on him. Twice. What's that say about him and how other teams value him?

How do the Rangers get a power play when Bickel comes in like a huge ****** trying to throw punches at Sestio over two referees, dropping the gloves first?

And of course the Rangers score on the power play...bull****. How do you give a team a power play when their guy drops the gloves first and is the third Rangers player trying to get after Sestito while there are two officials there? Eminger, Bickel, Rupp, and Staal are all grabbing, punching, and putting Sestio in a headlock and the Rangers get a power play? Unbelieveable.

And now a 10 minute misconduct out of the blue on Briere who was serving the second minor on Sestito.

What the f*ck is going on here?

Rangers are dirtbags...cheap shots all over the place today. Another after the whistle incident when the refs are there. Eminger took a swing with his stick at Sestito's legs while the ref is between them. Real tough those Rangers are. Bunch of p*ssies.

Another weak call against the Flyers, this time on Hartnell when he's in by himself with Lundqvist, breathes on him, and is called for goaltender interference. And it of course results in a power play goal.
