Wow the bruins are beating the caps, the c's just beat Memphis, and the pats are going to take home our 4th title in ten years....it is pretty sweet being from the greatest city on earth.

While I went for the Patriots in my football pool, I wouldn't get your hopes up. If the Pats lose, I will end up in last place in the pool. :(

Fights like crazy between the Flyers/Rangers. Bryzgalov is the reason the Rangers lead 3-2. If the goalie was earning his contract, it'd be 2-1 Flyers.

That boarding call on Bickel needs to be a major, he bumped Talbot once and then gave him a two arm extension into the numbers and drove him into the boards. The league wants that out of the game, they need to stop judging penalties and handing out punishment based on injury or lack thereof.

And that's for any player, any team, not just because it's a hit on the Flyers.

That's another one!!!!!!! Let's go RaNGeRS!!!!!!!!!!!

You cant beat us, clap clap, clap clap clap. Hartnel has clap, clap clap clap clap.........

Bring your silly songs and your chants, the only reason the Rags won was the goaltending. Both teams played well, physical...one got solid goaltending and a few home ice calls and the other team got miserable goaltending and hit a few posts.

It only matters once the top 8 in each conference make the playoffs. Rangers will probably lose in the first round, maybe the second, like every other time...

Only made the conference finals once since winning the cup in 93-94, and they lost to the Flyers (96-97). Otherwise, haven't made it past the second round in 17 years. Keep trying.

Leafs about to extend their lead on the bottom-feeders in the East with a big W over Edmonton tonight! IT'S REIM TIME, BABY!

What a game, Grabovski is unbelievable. All over the ice tonight making plays and setting up goals. Too bad Kulemin couldn't bury that pass he fed him towards the end of the game.

...and Ottawa is now in 8th place. Suck it, Senators.

3 more points for Phil the Thrill!

Grabovski - continues to woo me with his pure awesomeness. Great trade to get him from Montreal for a 2nd round pick, and Greg Pateryn (?)...

Leafs shooting for 6 more points this week.

GO LEAFS GO!

Yeah huge save by Reimer with the blocker in the 3rd as well to keep the momentum going. Love the Leafs new strategy - circle back, get organized, then BOOM - explode with speed through the neutral zone. Opposition doesn't know what to do!

Jets figured it out!!!!

You need to beat Toronto's speed with.... speed? Good game last night, was very exciting. Jets were playing like they had to win to keep their season alive, and the Leafs were just playing like their awesome selves, but on the tail-end of a back-to-back. Lame excuse, I know...

Lucky everyone else in the East sucks, too. 7 in a row, Sens!! :rockin:

What happened? I was working in the basement this evening.

FYI the Leafs are coming for you tomorrow.... the Kessel express gonna run the Flyers over.... GO LEAFS GO!

We'll see. If the Flyers get the goaltending they had against the Islanders and not what I saw against the Rags and Devils, the Leafs are in trouble.

Should be a good game. I miss when the Leafs were a tough team with Domi and it was always a battle. It'd good to have the Leafs be at least somewhat relevant.

Boston got whomped on. Good for Buffalo.

They got crushed. Didn't expect the shutout from Miller in my fantasy league, nor did I expect Rask or Thomas to let three in each. Those are my three goalies and they usually treat me pretty well.

Meh - the three games that Philly beat Toronto in last year were because Boucher was in net and he's somehow got a hardon for beating the Leafs. Only game Toronto won against Philly last season was when Bobbrovsbovski was between the pipes.

But I hope Bryz somehow starts... that guy is falling off the map. Doubtful though.

Sht happens. Homer got tackled into the Oiler netminder last night and got called for interference. Must have been his reputation they called him on.

****ty deal for the Hurricanes last night, what a brutal non-call on Corey Perry who scored the game winner seconds later. I am glad though that the referees in general have put their whistles down a bit since the Christmas break. There were too many games with 8 or 9 penalties, the game doesn't flow properly.

I can't believe how bad the Sabres cheat.

(ps. I didn't see the Lucic "stunt". I shut that game off early)

Is it just me or is everytime the bruins lose the other team are cheaters?

Im on the other side of the world so didnt catch said game but I hardly doubt a few calls not going there way would of made a difference to a 6 point flogging!

Looking at the stats Boston was up to there typical s**t when there getting outplayed and trying to instigate fights.

Dude lost in a 1-0 shootout last game. He was bad against the Rangers with several soft goals in the 5-2 loss.

Cross check/slash/clothes line with the stick to the back of the head/neck of a guy on one knee as he skated by on his way to the bench, might have been after the whistle, too.

I still want to know what this "stunt" was.

See above.

They were. They started acting like thugs - this coming from a Flyers fan.

Thornton wasn't the classiest here, either,[/url] pushing a player from the bench before surprise attacking Kaleta:

I didn't watch the video on my phone, but didn't he push Pommenville out of his way to jump over the boards onto the ice? And it happened to be right before Lucic's stick work?

This is just turning into a great rivalry with the start when Lucic hit Miller. The goalie snow shower on Thomas night had things going, Leino was targeted most of the night for something he did in the game...it's that emotional rivalry that's always on the tipping point of exploding.
