In the movie Hoffa with Danny Devito and Jack Nicholson there is an epic mob battle between (I believe) members of the the AFL and the CIO. This has got to be one of the longest, hardest mob fights in the history of cinema. Definitely epic.

While I couldn't find a clip of the fight, there is from what I can tell for just a second or so a snippet of it in the trailer at about the 20 second mark ...

Anything and everything having to do with the Hobbit... snoozefest extraordinaire.

I tried to watch the Hobbit because I've always been a Tolkien fan. However, thirty minutes into the film I was wishing everyone would just die so I could get on with life. I just turned it off.

I think I would have liked it better if I wasn't a Tolkien fan.

They stretched it out to 3 movies so that they could include abunch of stuff from the Silmarillion...no wait.....so that they could add a lot of BS that isn't in ANY book:drunk:

no, wait... so that they could squeeze 3x the $ out of the box office

I'm unsure if this fits well or not , but:

They Live - "I came here to chew bubblegum and kick ass..and I'm all out of bubblegum.

I actually love these crappy B movies, but I'm sure most people would call it non-epic.

Actually the fight scene from They Live is far more appropriate - I tried to add the South Park homage as well, but had no luck.
