How would you incorporate that into a system? It just seems WAY to long. Probably has amazing watt density though...

"The elements are supplied in straight lengths and can be shaped to suit your particular application"

Incoloy is kind of the Rearden Metal of stainless, high temp applications. We use it in specialty applications (industrial silicon manufacturing is the last place I dealt with it) where price is not an object because failure of the item in any way would have catastrophic financial implications...it is nearly impossible to weld by hand, outrageously expensive and ordering lead time are often measured in months or years.

In the case of that element is list likely not the Incoloy but still a high nickel content stainless alloy that is still malleable.

Says you can bend it, I guess you could coil it around the bottom of the pot like a blichmann boilcoil maybe? Guess you'd have to wrap it around something like making an immersion chiller.

Could be pretty sweet if it worked.

do you think it's a food grade item?

Not sure but it is nuclear grade.

If this alloy is anything the real thing the allow itself is very food safe. The total construction of the element end to end...who knows. The only thing that could realistically change that is if some crazy metallurgist added Cadmium.
