hello.
today i ran a full all grain batch in my partial mash system. i normally have been getting 70% or less efficiency. today when i ran it through. i pulled out 82% efficiency.

I changed a few things in my system and a few techniques. Normally i have been using just a large muslin sack for my grains, today i used a full nylon bag that allowed me to stir better.

Congrats!

80-82% is what I usually get with my BIAB system. I also crush, or should I say mill the grains with a Victoria grain mill.

This is the likely cause of the increased efficiency as the looser bag allows the water to circulate better and probably lets you mix the grains in better too. Congrats!:ban:
