Hello,
I am a n00b. I have only brewed 4 batches so far. 3 from "canned" kits (extract only?) and one from a local homebrew that was excellent and didn't require mashing/smashing, meshing, or whatever. I'd like to make an oatmeal/chocolate/sweet/whatever Stout next. But, i'd like to make it as a 2.5 gallon, not 5 gallons. After much searching I wasn't able to find anything that looked easy. And, when I mean easy, I mean "the least complicated as possible", please!
I'm feeling a bit adventurous (as in ready to inch a little past a 'kit') but I'm not sure I have the skills yet for more complex brews.
Thus, I'm wondering if anyone out there has a really really really easy stout-y recipe that is suitable for a noob like myself and could be easily put together from either local home brew supplies or some kit somewhere.
Please help this noob out; and, thank you in advance!
