So I'm brewing a east coast style ipa, the only problem is my LHBS did not have Conan or 1318. I have 1098 & Us-05. So I'm planning on using the 1098 instead of the Us-05. Will this get me in the ballpark?

only one way to find out! If the LHBS has 1272, I really enjoy it in hazy pales. It's called american ale, but it's of english origin.

Other good choices are Wlp007, or wlp002 with a slightly lower mash temp to aid attenuation
