Hi,

Just a quick, simple introduction thread from me.
I'm Richard from The Netherlands.
Two years ago I started brewing with my neighbour, first with just malted hopextract from a can, later all-grain.

We converted two 50 liter keg into keggle's, one for the mash and for the boiling. Future plan is to build a HERMS, but first we have to collect more parts.
Since English isn't my main language, expect some grammar mistakes from me :)

For a small country like the Netherlands, we have quite a big homebrewing community ;)

welkom, richard!

don't be too modest - like just about every dutchie i've ever met (and i've spent a lot of time in NL, some of my best friends live on the Overtoom in A'dam), your english is probably better than many so-called native speakers.

great to hear that homebrewing in popular in holland!

@Sweetcell: You're making me blush ;)

Today I did some shopping:

I plan to brew tommorow night, this for 2 batches of 35 liters.
I smacked the Wyeast immediatly after buying and now it looks like it's going to explode. Tonight I will poor it in a big bottle with some wort from an earlier brew, to get some more yeast.
