I'm using my Ss Brewtech Chronical fermenter for the first time on a stout. It has been fermenting for about a week and it's help its gravity reading for a couple days. I tried to dump the trub, but it seems to be mixed with a lot of the beer... I don't want to keep dumping it and lose more beer than necessary, but I also want to dump as much as I can...
Any help or insight into this? It could be how it's supposed to be, I just don't know. I was expecting a ton of trub and then the beer to follow and shut it closed quickly when I see the beer, but it just looks like all the trub and beer is mixed together.
It's fermenting at 69f and I used whirlfloc.
