Dumped spices in Hefe in primary

Is this ok? Doing a quick ferment on the Hefe, 10 days or so and then bottling. First time adding any seasonal spices and didn't know when to add, so just threw it in primary
 
What type/amount of spices are you talking?

It wont kill your beer or anything. I think alot of people usually add spices during the boil or in secondary, but have never really heard of during primary. I guess the biggest argument against it would be that the actively fermenting yeast will drive all the aromatics of the spices out of the brew.

If the taste just 'isnt there' at bottling time, just add some more to the bottling bucket and rack on top.
