Dry hopping question

Yeah so I just dry-hopped 5 gallons of apfelwein to an ounce of Spalt hops. There is 1/2" of forestry floating on the top. Will this eventually drop out?

it will settle at the bottom.. but next time go to home depot or ace and get some small paint strainer bags and bundle the hops up in it.. i put shot glasses in mine to keep in submerged and tie it off with non waxed dental floss on the outside of my fermenter .. works awesome

I dry hop in muslin bags and it works really well. I also add some weight to the bag to get the hops submerged.
