I have run into a little snag on my mini fridge conversion project. I cannot drill a hole big enough to fit the faucet shank through the door. Is there a special bit I should purchase or what did you guys use to get through? Thanks

I used a unibit that I bought at harbor freight for around $15. The metal and plastic are really weak, so it doesn't take a really expensive bit. I drilled from the inside until the hole was the right size, then drilled from the outside to the same size, it already had made a 1/2" hole.

Here's what it looks like: Titanium Nitride Coated Steel Step Drill Bit Set

I also managed to shoot a hole in a keg with the same bit but it took a LOOOOONG time

Thanks bud. I'll look into it. I might as well buy a decent bit cause I'll be drilling a few holes in this fridge and when I convert my brew pot to a kettle.
