Drank MY first beer

I drank the first beer I brewed today and was pleasantly surprised. It was a MR. Beer diablo ipa kit. The beer tasted similar to a smuttynose, which I'm not crazy about, I am pleased though that I haven't died from it. Anyone that is sitting on the fence about home brewing should just take the plunge. If a dope like me can figure it out I am sure just about anyone can.

I am eagerly awaiting the 2 other brews that I have made.

I agree, death after my first homebrew would definetly have been be a turnoff.

Congrats on the first brew mate! I doubt I would have kept with the hobby if the first beer killed me. Thankfully, I now have a few brews under the belt.
