This past weekend I went to open the cottage up north in Rivière du Loup. A at the same time my first batch I made was almost ready. 17 days in bottle so I decided to bring a few to the cottage.
Wasn't sure what to expect, I brewed my first batch a Pale Ale. The receipe from John Palmer book.
WOW. Didn't know it could be so good. I'm very impressed. It tasted very good and fresh. You could smeel the hops I used and the beer was very clear, much more than I expected it to be. Carbonisation was just right.
I'm very pleased with my first batch and looking forward for the next one.
