Im looking to run a batch of Brad's Vienna lager https://www.homebrewtalk.com/f59/brads-vienna-lager-80356/ and dont quite understand the mash schedule and i'm wondering if someone could check out what im planning Vs what the schedule actually is and let me know if im on the right path.
Hers is what im planning,
0 mins strike 15.07l @135f
10 mins pull 5.58l of mash 1.36 of that being liquid, boil and hold @210
50 mins place 5.58l decoction back in mash
100 mins pull 5.47l of mash 3.13l of that being liquid, boil and hold @210
120 mins place 5.47l decoction back in mash
140 mins begin filling kettle and sparg to make 25l

Any help is appreciated

I recommend you go check out braukaiser.com lots of great info on decoction mashing. He also has a decoction video sticky in the all grain section that is very helpful.

I recently decided to give decoction mashing a go but didn't like the extra long brew day it required but I found a nice compromise called a Schmitz Decoction that only added an extra hour to my brew day and its making fantastic beers for me.
