I think I paid 80 for mine, its a fantastic piece of art. I specially love the weight, as I dont have to drag it, its own weight does the shaving.

I am also eyeing this beauty

I didn't see those on dollar shave clubs website. Boy did this thread get derailed...

Not derailed , just upgraded .

Nothing against DSC or Dorco, I just have been wet shaving since I was 16. My grandfather only used safety razors and I followed suit.

I got a Mach 3 in the mail for my 18th birthday. I went out shortly after and bought a pack of replacement blades. Still haven't finished them all off.

I'm 25 now.

I looked into the the whole safety razor, Turkish blades, badger brush, shaving soap in a a mug thing and realized ain't nobody got time for that sh*t...

MY schedule give me about 5 minutes in the morning to shave (if that)....I'll spend a little more in money for the convenience of taking to my overnight stubble with a disposable razor and some shave gel.

I'll leave the "shaving should be an experience" methods to the hipsters who don't have to be somewhere in the morning, who don't have kids who need to be shooed out door, etc.

I do it in 10--15 minutes at night after the kids are asleep. Mornings are hell around here getting them out the door. I'll never go back to disposable.

Back to the original topic:

I'm a customer. I have a beard, so I don't do much face shaving- but I do shave my head. I like their razors just fine (comparable to the major brands) and I love the price and connivence.

In terms of their other products, I've never tried their shave gel/lotion since I'm an old school mug and brush guy- but I'm a believer in One Wipe Charlies.

If be very careful with those wipes. They are not safe for plumbing, despite their claims. I know friends who've had their plumbing plugged solid from them and heard about municipalities trying to go after citizens that have caused blockages in the mains.

The shave gel is probably ok if you use it to shave twice a day. I felt like it didn't really do anything besides make a greasy mess.

I will stick with aerosol Edge gel stuff.

Don't fall for the need to buy into the latest trendy product (though dollar shave club is very good for what it does). Buy yourself a nice old school double edged safety razor and never look back.

I too have been using a DE for some time. I really dosen't take me any longer to get a better shave than it did with a gilette multiblade. And I save a ton of money
