Hi All,

I hope you guys are doing good and exercising cautions to remain safe during outbreak of COVID-19!!

Since many home brewers face the problem of how clear the brew is and by using gelatine, the brew gets cleared effectively, no doubt on it, but, I want to ask one thing, if after fermentation, I put my brew for cleaning via gelatine and extract the clean stuff and discard the sediments collected in bottom during clearing process and then put clean collected brew for natural carbonation in bottles, will it effect the carbonation or not. Request you to please reply me on the same. Thanks.......

Using gelatine to clear the beer doesn't affect the ability to carbonate in bottles. I do both and have never had an issue.

Even with the gelatine, there is sufficient yeast still in the clean beer to carbonate successfully.

Brew on and enjoy the hobby.

Thank you very much buddy. Thanks a lot for confirmation.
