Do I have too much room around my false bottom.

I bought a false bottom cooler conversion. The cooler I have is a gott. Is this too much space around the outside edge. It's .25 to .50 inch all around gap. View attachment ImageUploadedByHome Brew1481237566.661483.jpg

Nah, your good. That kinds sits on the bottom and makes the seal there.
