dip tube woes :(

so i got a keg, with a ball lock dip tube that has a curve at the bottom to hit the bottom of the keg.

but i swear, everytime i try and get the thing to actually not twist when i thighten the post, it always gets twisted around. and it pours half foam all the time!

anyone got a tip for me how to keep the damn thing aligned, when once again i have to pull & replace the o-ring, and try and get it set properly?

I cut one inch from my dip tubes.

If it turn 180 degrees, could you start already turned and end up straight?

not a bad idea, might be rough on the o-ring though.
