Are these two systems manufactured by the same company? Is the DigiBoil with the mash upgrade kit merely a Robobrew without programmable automated step mashing and without the built-in pump? What other differences are there between them to justify the Robobrew being twice the price?

The Robobrew comes with a SS immersion chiller. Also noticed on the Williams website that the DigiBoil holds temperatures within +/- 5 degrees. The Robobrew control is more accurate. Also included with the pump is a sparge arm. Personally I think the pump is kinda essential to these units. Given the shape, recirculating is needed for both mashing and cooling. I use mine all the time.

I didn’t use the automatic mode for a long time, but have been lately.
