The more expensive one is because it is a dual body regulator. That way you can set separate pressure on the two kegs, rather than having one pressure for both kegs. That way if you want to serve your beer at proper pressures for their style you can - I don't ever bother with that. I find the same 12psi is fine for all the different beers that I do. But hey, for some people those things are important, but it does run you more.

It looks like the more expensive one comes with a CO2 tank and the cheaper one has that as optional.

Also, its telling me that both are out of stock FWIW.

Yeah, they just both went out of stock recently. You can't see the option since it is out of stock, but the one with the "optional" co2 tank defaults to a reconditioned tank for the price shown. A new tank adds a charge, and selecting "no tank" drops 50 bucks off the bill.

They both appear to have a dual body regulator, or am I crazy?

Maybe I'll just pay a few bucks more and go through keg connection, those kits seem a bit easier to put together.

Theirs come pre-assembled, which is nice. You just have to tighten the connections. I don't think they have a kit that comes with a double regulator though, just a single.
