...why,when good things start to happen for you,& then you get bad things happen to pay for it? I was getting flamed/given a hard time for defending cooper's. All I did was post a recipe to make an IPA with one of their cans,Munton's plain light DME,& 6 lousy ounces of hops. They lit into me like flies on a horse. The thread here went down the line to back pages pretty quick. I was feeling pretty down about it in my blogs.
Then,The member that runs makebeer.net PM's me to talk about it. He explained some things about their likes/dislikes down under. Then offers me a freebee. I pick an English bitter package. Started to make me feel better.
Then, other members start PM'ing me about problems with their brews that needed solving. One is sending me some stuff cooper's sent him he can't use/doesn't need. I'm really flattered that I can help some folks out. Starting to feel a little better.
I get a few more thumbs up.
Then boom! Blower for heat/cooling goes fubar. Washer quits,& being a Japanese brand, can't find repair tech. The deer hit last 10/24 takes out my windshield/front of roof. Insurance won't fix it. Not enough to cover thousands in dr bills. Now state took away my license till dec of next year for lack of ins on a car I haven't been driving anyway. And since I can't afford to pay for the appeal to the court,I'm screwed.
I just don't understand why these things keep happening? Bad Karma I've been told. Idk,...maybe God does hate me...?

As an Athiest I can't buy into the 'God hates me' stuff. Only thing I can say is Sh&* happens. Don't worry, things can only go up from here, right?

I'm a Christian, but I also don't buy into any "God hates me" stuff. I agree that sh#t happens.

I've been pretty beat up myself for stating my own opinion. Sometimes people are just jerks, but that's not my problem.

Been through similar stuff many times. Yes it sucks at the time however one thing I learned from each crappy event was that when you hit rock bottom, you can only go up from there. Things get better with time. And yes I agree with Yooper, most people are jerks and idiots for that matter so who cares what they say or think.

I'm an atheist too. But Father Christmas is one hell of a spiteful bastard. He NEVER forgets when I've been naughty, and will always piss in my beer when he wants to prove a point.

Matter of fact,I've had Christmases in the recent past where I was the only one that didn't get anything. I don't have the $$ to file the court thing to get my side of the story in to this freakin meat head at the BMV. So I E-mailed him with the info & a pic of my busted a$$ car the ins co won't pay to fix. My only car at that. I'm broke,& out of minutes on my damn phone.
Doom, dispare,& agony on me. Deep dark depression, excessive misery. If it weren't for bad luck,I'd have no luck at all! Doom, dispare,& agony on me... Life sucks so much a$$,it's unbyGodlevable!@*&$%#@^&!

+1. Just do what you know is right. You can't always keep bad things from happening, but maybe you can help keep them from letting you down.

I think doing what you can to get the DMV, BMV, or as we call it in Michigan, the SOS to fix your problem is the right thing. Surely they can get a resolution without them forcing you to spend money. But it would probably have been better to go down there first thing and explain what happened so they can unregister your car. This would have made the uninsured car ok. (I am pretty sure our state requires ANY registered vehicle to have insurance of some sort. )

Now get out there and do some good deeds to get your "luck" turned around! :mug:

This letter came from the head registrar in Columbus. & Sheffield won't let me keep an unregistered car in my driveway. Damn stupid laws. If the IRS wouldn't have taken all my return money the last 2 years in a row,I wouldn't have this problem.
