I used The priming calculator and I think I used ir right. I bottled on The 17th of de ember. After a week of bottling I put two bottles on The fridge, they were chilling and yesterday (tuesday 27th) I opened them and they were Good. Today I put some on The fridge for a few hours and when I served The first one it was lacking in carbonation :( I put The rest back on The fridge. I am confused, do you think The rest of them be OK or not OK?

Thank you

One week really isn't very long for priming. If you are having issues with beer not being carbonated I would suggest you remove any bottles from the fridge and store them somewhere warm for another week or two. Bottles that are carbonating should be stored at room temps (70F) for 2 to 3 weeks, then placed into the fridge.

did you add the priming sugar to the bottling bucket before racking? What temp were the bottles stored at after bottling? Could need more time at room temperature, or if the priming sugar was not mixed properly, you could get different carb levels in each bottle.

I've started gently stirring beer in bottling bucket to be sure the priming solution is mixed evenly. And although I've had well carbed beer at one week, three weeks seems to be the best timeframe for beer to turn the corner and get much better. Obviously bigger beers will take longer.

I Will take them out of The fridge, and put them back in The box, but is it normal for some of them to be Good in one week and not The others?

I'm relatively new to brewing but two issues I've had:
1. Priming solution not evenly distributed. If it's on the bottom of the bucket like most kits instruct, then the first bottles you fill may have more sugar than the others.
2. I recycle all of my bottles and I've found that done have a different top where the lower ridge is closer to the mouth. These don't cap tightly and often won't allow the beer to carb properly
