It's my first time making a yeast starter. Last night, I followed the pictorial directions here:

https://www.homebrewtalk.com/f39/how-make-yeast-starter-pictorial-76101/

I neglected to add any more water after the boil, so I have roughly 2 cups of water with the yeast in there.

I was planning on using this yeast tonight in a big IPA, is there anything I should do to it before I pitch it? Add some more water?

Thanks!

I wouldn't worry about adding any water or anything. If a good portion of yeast has settled to the bottom you can decant the liquid off the top, but if not I would just pitch the whole thing.

Good luck!

You'll be fine. It means the gravity was perhaps a little higher than ideal, so the yeast may not take off quite as strongly as they could have, in theory, but they'll still do their job.
