Picked up a four pack of 12 oz cans of this stuff. This is the first sour beer I've tried. Took about four or five sips and poured it. All I got was vinegar and bread. Vinegar was way overpowering for me.

I'll probably end up marinating chops with the other three cans.

I love all styles of beer, am somewhat dissapointed that I truly disliked this.

It gets great ratings from what I've seen. Has anyone tried this? Are all sours this strong? Acquired taste?

Maybe I just have a virgin palate, but WOW!

Sorry, I know this is an old thread I just ran across it and I wanted to reassure OP that he's not off-base. First off, I enjoy various kinds of tart beers, especially when the weather's hot. Here Gose Nothin', however, tastes like a mouthful of vomit. Way too much sour/acid. The salt helped but wasn't enough to balance it out. American brewers have a tendency to think "more is always better" sometimes, maybe that's the problem and Destihl thinks sour is the new bitter.

Maybe I just got a bad can...but man, it was bad. Ever had a bad oyster? That was the worst thing I ever experienced. This was 2nd worst. My gf and I even tried to finish it as a team and failed. We still dumped about 2/3 of it. That has never happened before. Ever. With any beer of any style.
