Hey there, first post.
So today a buddy and I started our first-ever homebrew. We used a True Brew brand IPA kit, and followed all instructions UNTIL -
- Killed the yeast with boiling water by accident. Realized this seconds later, and one of us ran off to the supply store to buy more.
Second disaster:
- Rubber stopper on Primary Fermenter bucket fell into the wort. Upon return with yeast, we fished around with spoons & strainers, trying unsuccessfully to retrieve it. Eventually, resorted to sanitizing right arm and retrieving it manually.
So... veterans. First impressions. How screwed is this batch?
