The original recipe in the kit was English Mild Ale...
4.3 pounds of malt extract along with amber, chocolate and crystal malts. East Kent Golding hops for bittering (no aroma hops)

I am adding an additional 1# of DME bries golden lt and 1# of clover honey at flame out.

Will this become a reasonable Honey Brown Ale. Any thoughts on aroma hops?

Thanks.

No. The honey will add nothing to the beer but alcohol. I would brew it as is and enjoy a beer that is hard to find in the states.

If you want to brew something like Dundee's Honey Brown, you should start from scratch and use honey malt instead of actual honey.
