Hailstorm / Omega Yeast Labs Day Zero Dryhop (collaboration NE IPA with a Kveik yeast strain, fermented at 90+ degrees, and went from brew day to packaged in 7 days).
Chewy. Wort. Pithy. Flat.
Thanks to duckyboycantfly for the hookup on this one which is certainly unique. Has a color that looks like it is super saturated with hop material, limited head / carbonation, but lots and lots of hop aroma / flavor with moderate to lower bitterness.
Not my cup of tea, but fascinated by the sciene behind it as I was always taught that bitterness comes through isomerization of hops in a hot liquid. When you don't add hops in the boil / whirlpool though where is the bitterness coming from?
