Started off with a Treehouse Tornado:

The hype still strikes me as undeserved, but the is appreciably better than the other cans I've tried from them.

And I'm now drinking my first Afterthought beer:

Not as impressive as anticipated, but I'm extremely glad to have had the opportunity to give it a try. Thanks capnmike.

Well...this was what I wanted to discuss with you, I think I mentioned in a PM....I think I asked initially which of the 3 you wanted, and you picked black raspberry...I hadn’t tried it yet....but in packing your box I learned “the sourer the better” for you. The night I taped your box closed, I tried the black raspberry and realized it was far less sour than apricot with raspberry in the middle of the 3. So frankly, this isn’t surprising to me :). Anyway, I hope you get to try some more, if so inclined - but I think the balance is what makes these beers so appealing to many.

I also tried this tonight- too cold at first, a nice roasty porter but I wasn’t getting much of the caramel...until it warmed significantly as I sipped during dinner...thanks!
