well it needed the drbenzo treatment and is now quite tasty.
 
Right before overtime one of the Americans said that beat should be considered a Lambic.

Drinking through the first wave of this years Cellar Reserve beers. Thought this one would be my favorite but it's probably bring up the rear. The blackberry and raspberry are great this year, though. And photobomb courtesy of my best friend, Churchill.

Fun Fact: Canadians say “Eh” for the following reasons:

1. to express doubt, surprise, confirmation, please, maybe, now, etc
2. as a filler word: instead of “you know?”, “you see?”, “Right?”. Used to seek acknowledgement from the other person.
3. ascertaining the comprehension, continued interest, agreement, etc., of the person or persons addressed.

Is that a Canadian thing, eh?

Here, let me help you. The proper way to phrase it, in Canadian, would be:

"That's a Canadian thing, eh?"

Hb strong dark with blueberries and port soaked oak.

Blueberries aren't distinct, but I didn't expect them to be in a 10% roasty beer, even at 2lbs/gal. Fruit does blend very smoothly into the lactic and hint of acetic from mixed ferment.

Hit up our local McMenamins for happy hour and some food. Too hot to cook. Spent some time in the backyard for the first time since moving up here. Finally threw enough of the cardboard boxes away so that I didn't feel like I was hanging out in a shanty town. Put my feet up and had a beer.



This one is for Tim Howard. Dude played out of his mind tonight, and it's a shame his tournament is over.
