One of my university's long time faculty members passed away recently, so there's a memorial service today preceded by a reception. There's an open bar, so why not. Order a Glenlivet, the "bartender" puts ice into a wine glass. I'm thinking okay sure whatever. Then she starts pouring...and doesn't stop until the glass is almost totally full. Wasn't looking to get whiskey drunk at noon, but ZFG.
