Check out the Rhine Garden, there's a spot there that has Peter Kolsch and ice cream. Not the best beer but probably my favorite spot. And it's a short walk from both the Museum Ludwig and the mustard museum where you can load up on all the mustard schnapps your heart desires.

And Craft Beer Corner is a really cool Scandinavian style spot if you're craving some IPAs or stouts later.

Craft Beer Corner = Scandinavian? Maybe we went to different bars :) I love the place and the people, but never thought Scandinavian design or style.

Gave me kind of a Torst/Mikkeller vibe and the majority of taps were Scandinavian when I went. Plus the one barkeep I spoke to was Danish ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

They have different tap takeovers all the time. As against the grain last week, a month ago de Garde... its sort of an interesting mix, maybe some Scandinavian influence, like a little mikkeller mixed w a German pub...

I went for the grand opening, there was a lot of Omnipollo from what I remember. It was packed, I never checked out the back room so maybe that's why I got that vibe.

Need to follow all the Kölsch advice. Haven't been a fan thus far.

I've never particularly enjoyed Kolsch either, but I'm going to be in Cologne this summer so I intend to drink my fill while I'm there.

I'm on a work trip, believe it or not.

As in Olde Burnside Brewery? If so, you're very close to me.
