For a three year old beer not bad. Chocolate note is gone, but the cherry and barrel shine. It's like a CCB Cherry Rye. Diggin it.

Closing in on ticking all the S&S IPAs. S&S 4 & 6 are my favorite IPAs. Better than Double Citra, Susan, Double Citra, Heady, Focal Banger, Julius, Pliny, Todd, etc.

Disclaimer: I'm not a ticker, but New England IPAs, especially HF and TH, are always worth seeking out, even when you live in the middle of the continent.

Coffee meads are tricky. They are a bit more naked than coffee beer. on the plus side, you liked it, so more for you. I had a killer passion fruit one from there on Sunday.
