Kicking off an early tasting with the RB crew to celebrate one of the lad's 20K.

This was alright. Probably going to cease being the top rated barley wine on RB once the rates from today come in.

Can't wait for 3 week old cans to hit northern Ohio. Pumped for dat mini keg though
Inb4 not as good as last year blahblahblah. 8/10 will shotgun a few cans Honestly haven't had it so fresh ever, I will say drinking the cans close to room temp is much more enjoyable than the cold pour I had at the tap room. It is pretty tasty this year!

I just find it funny that Bells and founders are just to our north and by the time they get it here it's already a couple weeks old at least. Yet we got born yesterday like 5 days after bottling?

All Day (and all the seasonal hoppy stuff as well) is consistently a month old when it hits here. My distributor says it's Founders fault. I don't understand why they want to keep sending old beer here. Then it doesn't sell, and then they just let more come. They really need to get their **** together.

(sorry for CONTINUING to derail this thread)...but I've dealt with that too.
Dissenter was the worst for this. Our distro had it in the warehouse for almost a month before the hard release date, which Founder's is very serious about. I still really liked the beer, but would have liked to try it fresher.
