The elapsed time from my wife dropping me at the sky cap desk to past security was seven minutes. Then, like, tons of beer options. Bought a bottle of pFriem BBA Imperial Stout after security to take with me.

Busted my ass at work the last 2 weeks to study for a certification exam that usually takes months to get. Passed the exam this morning on my first try. Huge weight lifted off my shoulders, so celebrating.

Little “baby moon” getaway. Wife is soaking in the tub, and I’m solo doming this bad boy before dinner.

Mouthfeel is silky af, and I’m overpowered by roast and vanilla, with literally zero burn. Holy hell is this an amazing beer. Thanks RyanG - too generous!

Had the day off, so I was productive. Cleaned the entire house (including a deep clean in the kitchen and bathroom), worked on my motorcycle and snowblower, and a couple other random things around the house. Now relaxing with a beer.

What I had read about it was so terrible that my expectations were rock bottom, but...I like it better than I thought I would. It is ridiculously fruity, but also sweet, so I’m not getting a sour stout vibe that I don’t like...it’s not very stouty at all, FYI. Smells like juice. Tastes pretty much like BA juice. All in all pretty happy (again expectations were very low and I am easy to please).
