BravoDawg beer

Our local trusty Bud rep just sent me an email all excited about Elysian entering our region and I was very meh about it...
I would have liked to try it years ago so I would have been able to compare. I'm not floored by it, but it is a smooth easy drinker that probably drinks more like a hoppy pale. I've had a lot danker/ heavier 7% IPAs then this. Nothing to go seek out, but if fresh ones keep coming it would not be a bad sixer to take down in a sitting.

Been waiting a bit to crack this open...

Hm. About 2/3 of the way through. DEFINITELY need to let this one warm. A mild, balanced sweet stout with some very light adjuncts. Light sweet vanilla notes come through, maple has to really be looked for, cinnamon lightly dries out and spices the body. Base beer is a well done middleweight roasty stout.

A tasty beer for sure, but guess I was hoping for something more... aggressive?
