All,

Just an update, I'm hoping to be able to place the order by March 12, so please count up your needs and send them in! I know that even with my inconsistent brew schedule, I'll go through 120 of these pretty quickly and won't have to worry about getting over a dollar's worth of bottle returned from my friends and co-workers.

Thanks.. and Brew on!! :ban:

Come one, come all. Let's close these out so we can call this one DONE!

I know there are a few of you out there just dying to try some of these malts. If you haven't tried them and are looking for suggested styles or even commercial beers that use them, let the Group know. We will help!

OK OK twist my arm why don't ya I'll take:
10lbs Crisp Roasted Barley
10lbs Crisp Brown
:D

Added, thank you.
That closes 2 more splits, 5 to go. 160 pounds left.
Everyone needs Carapils, CaraAroma, or some of those other darker grains.

On an afterthought, I may be interested in some of your Roasted Barley. Would you be willing to split it (5+5) or partially (say 2-3#), if you feel you have too much?

Done, thank you!

While shopping (thanks funnycreature), I also added for myself:
RAH1005 Rahr Premium Pilsner 1x

That puts us at 25 sacks firm and 5 still pending (open splits).

You are very welcome, Frits :)

I wish I could contribute more but my inventory is not really shrinking a lot because I brew at most once a months... I should brew more high gravity beers but with summer in mind I want to focus more on lighter beers. I have a lot of lawn mowing to do ;) :mug:

Could you please add the following to my order:
(1) RAH1004 Rahr Pale Ale 50 lb
(1) RAH1005 Rahr Premium Pilsner 50 lb

I might be willing to go halves with someone on those, but I don't want to start new splits this late in the game.
Thanks

That's the right spirit!
Added for you. If you find someone who wants partials, we can easily turn them into splits.

The maximum tolerance for the mower is 10% (v/v) ethanol, right? :fro:

I haven't tried beer on my lawn yet but it always gets the leftovers from brew day...

Yeah, but did you ask her about the other 90% before you filled her up?

Oh, I think it was Jerry Baker who said that beer is good for lawns. This was way before homebrewing became popular, so I guess he was referring to regular BMC.

I have an interesting beer and grass anecdote I'll save for when we drink those few pints we've been promising each other. Just remind me when we get there. It's a 2 or 3 pinter, minimum.

Yeah, although I really enjoy brewing alone this summer I have to get brewing with some buddies. I might actually learn something (besides from getting to try other people's homebrew). :mug:

I will split the Rahr Pilsner with you.

Dammit, this buy needs to close or I need to stay off of HBT.

Add 15 lb Briess 2-Row Carapils® 50 lb BRI1022

Thank you for picking this up. 20 lbs to go on the Carapils

I will split the Rahr Pilsner with you.

The bag's now split between you and masonjax.

5 splits and 145 lbs to go. Some only need another 20 or 25 lbs taken to close out.

Anyone interested in splitting some acidulated malt? I could take 10 pounds of the following if so:

1X WEY1072 Weyermann® Acidulated 25 Kg (55 Lb.)

Just wanted to throw out there the reason I need lots of grain...

Wonderful day to brew an IPA!!!

Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N900A using Home Brew mobile app

Brew day start time: 10am
Brew day end time: 3pm

That included setup, cleanup and 60 min mash and 60 min boil!

It is FAN-F'in-TASTIC to have access to HOT (120F-130F) water to get a jump start on my strike/sparge water!

This bad boy had 25 lbs of grain, 2 lbs of a lil something extra (won't divulge my secret ingredient - well, unless you get me hammered), and 7 oz of hops in the boil. 2 oz will be in each 5 gallon keg for 7 days (at 75F) before these go on CO2.

This beer is headed for the www.beerbaconmusic.com competition, as well as my Irish Red (which BigBeavK has had).

ALERT: Less than a week left in this buy! I close out the buy first thing Sat. AM. I will call in the order on Saturday. Pickup will be the following week, Sat. the 22nd. I have another engagement that day, so we will have to get this done efficiently, like the last time.

So if you have any last minute orders, now is the time to get them in. Cheers all!!
