Could also be that since the fest is 2 weeks later than it was traditionally they pushed ticket sales back 2 weeks.

So the crazy facebook rumors are true?
Ha! I have to laugh here guys and also apologize. I was getting frustrated with them not releasing the date because why not tell the public so that they can plan, right? So I posted this as a wild speculation to see what would happen or if anyone in her know anything. The timing on them announcing that is pretty ridiculous. I'm sure someone from the brewery didn't want crazy rumors or there and maybe it was something else that prompted it. If I make it this year join me in a toast while donning a tin foil hat with me.

I checked BA earlier today for info just out of curiosity, saw a 1000+ post thread where are -still- doing that stupid "Dragon Abortion" joke from last year.

Only 72oz of beer allowed in this year instead of 288oz.

No outside food allowed in.

Start your bitching.

I doubt these will be strongly enforced though.
Haven't decided if I'm going to take three bombers and a can I'll take a sip out of just before I get to security, two 750s and an ever-so-slightly-underfilled bomber, or a sixer of Coors Banquets. It'll probably end up being a game-time decision.

So doing the yearly tradition of ticket price breakdown:

1 x $50 for the rariant
4 x $20 for the regular
1 x $50 for the honor of attending/metal bands/tote bag
?

All in all, can't complain too much. I like the wristband approach too - should make everything much easier (also much easier to spend **** tons of money).

I just hope that if they really enforce the oz limit on beers they step up the game on the taps. I know they probably want to keep it and the food thing lower so you spend more, but if they're tapping shelf beers all day I don't think it will make much of a difference.

Or maybe they are trying to avoid hundreds of blacked out/passed out neckbeards like years past?

Yeah what is the rfid chip linked too? The credit card that I bought the tickets with? Lots of questions about that .

Not only that. You probably agree to let your spending habits and history from that card be shared and sold off by whomever is providing this wonderful service that we should all be so stoked for. By extension they can sell it to their "partners." Good to know we're maximizing profit centers for everyone. They don't want neck beards passing out. Just drunk enough to make buying more things easier. And I'll be first in line, sigh.

I wonder if we can use a prepaid Visa card.

Hey it's been a few years since I've been, but did they stop doing the entry-only tickets? I was considering going again this year with my wife but we have no need for all those bottles, nor do we want to spend the equivalent to a nice prix fixe for the two of us...

Yeah they haven't done those the past couple years.

Yes, the wristband FAQ says you can use any credit/debit card or Apple Pay instead of the wristband.

This early ticket sales drama is entertaining on the other site.

So here's the deal about the people buying tickets already. Two days ago, I tried to guess the password on the Etix website. It was "dld2018" which I got on my second guess lol. I don't know if it was intentional by Etix or not. I suppose it may have been for FFF F&F to buy tickets early.

Either way, it was a bad choice of password by Etix. It obviously led to others guessing it too and tickets getting purchased. I decided not too purchase them since I'm not sure we are going again this year.

Here's a SS of my cart I took.
