Brewed a Bourbon porter from northern brewer on Friday. Wort in fermenter at 70 degrees, pitched yeast and have activity from blow off hose in 2 hours. Overnight was steady bubbling and temperature was between 68 and 70 all night. Went to work and when I came home temp was reading 76 and had very vigorous bubbling. Since instructions said max temp is 70 degrees I lowered to 68.
Well since then I've had no activity in blow off tube bottle. Any ideas or concerns? Should I just keep my Ftss at 68 and ride it out till 2ndary fermentation?
