Exceeded my expectations. Then again, I'm a fan of the JK funky stuff more than most people. From reading, I guess Creature made the beer and just used some JK yeast.
Can't wait for the collabs with Wicked Weed, Tree House, and Arizona Wilderness.

Just chiming in to say that Creature Comforts can do me no wrong!

ALL of their canned offerings I've had have been from very good -> exceptional.

Tropicalia is already at the top of my IPA list when considering taste + cost + availability, and that Automatic might be even better. Cheers

All of us non homers down here would agree. Everyone I shared with and sent Automatic to loved it. Trop is good, just a tad more malty than most of the new school IPAs I really enjoy.

I enjoy it. I'm not going to chase it, but if I stumble across it I'll happily get a pint of it or 6 pack.

Obviously it's a pale ale vs IPA, and I'm not directly comparing the two, but I'd rather just have a Trop.

They have a handful of shirts online, but the ones they have at the brewery for sale but aren't on the website look better IMO. I snagged a really good brown shirt, with the logo written in orange that might be my favorite beer shirt (same exact shirt as the black one with logo in white).

It's a different beer. Same base minus mixed culture conditioning in the package. Transmission will have a slightly different profile due to an additional fermentation.

I love that craft beer has gotten so popular- more great festivals, bottle shares, and options on the shelf... But damn do I miss not having to kill yourself trying to chase down some of these more limited ones. I haven't done it for years, but I need a case of this one to last me the rest of the summer.
