After a three week period in the fermenter, I racked the beer into a keg with primer sugger for the second.
The wort was made with some dry hops plugs and I usually use pellets. Anyway, when I opened the tub there was a thick 1/4 inch amount of trub-looking crud on the top. I'm assuming this came from the hops plug; the beer smelled normal and it did not have any off flavors from a spoiled batch.
I have not seen this before, Is this normal?
My hydrometer is busted and a replacement is in transit.
